Vacation 2010 Norway

I had an awesome week at the lake, climbing 2 different mountains not all the
way, made some amazing pics and videos. Choped down a tree with just a knife and
slept a night in a hammack. Geeze i had forgotten how bad that sleeps, fucking
anoying and o so cold even with a sleepingback and a sleepingpad. And i tested
my skills to create a trap for chasing bad guys, wich succeeded ok a nice strong
springpole on chesthight..... yes i did dismantle it before i left lol.
Caught very few fish just 2 Grayling fish. It was a very difficult lake to fish
and i didnt fish a lot either to be honoust, day 5 of the trip i threw out a
blinker at the back of the canoe and let the line go till the end to troll it
behind the canoe, but the blinker got stuck and the line snaped at the end, so
that was end of fishing for this trip. Canoeing around the whole lake 13 miles
long. One of the last days i was on the other side of the lake and had to paddle
all the way to the other side of the lake wich was like 10 miles and that days
the wind was soo strong and rain all day long. First 5 miles against the wind
last 5 miles with the wind in the back oei the waves from 2 feet high almost got
in my canoe.
The day of return had come, starting at 6:00 in the morning with canoeing back
to the path thru the hills, and waling the 9 km across the gravle road to the
point of pickup. I had decided to go to Jotunheimen Nationalpark and hike there
for a week, or if that was impossible from the snow drive to Hardangervida
National park to hike there for a week. only 300 km to drive but the navigation
system calculated 8 hours WTF must be all small roads, and indeed they were. The
only small town i crossd i wanted to sleep in a lowbudget place but there were
none, my outdated lonly planet had either wrong adresses or they hadnt opened
yet since Norwegian tourists season is only july august and september. Getting
money from an ATM cost me 20 euros and gave me a hand full of euro biljets WTF i
dont need no euros ive got those already i need fucking krones, nobody takes
euro's in norway! So driving on to the Park ariving in the evening and walked
for 5 hours. The tourist station i went to to get a map from the paprk had told
me its to early to hike since there was too much snow, well i could walk all
evening and found a lovly place on the mountaintop for my tent. Next day early
up getting my tent stuffed in my backpack and on the go again, 15 km across the
mountain passage t the next stop, in the morning i encountered the first patches
of snow the marked footpaths dissapeared in the snow. Walking thru it went slow
and was dangerous since the mountains were covered with boulders the size of you
and me and due the snow i couldnt see where i stepped. My feet and legs were
frozen from the snow even in my expensive hiking boots, while my upper body was
buring in the sun but what a nice spot was this. A light blue frozen lakes amid
the snowcovered mountaintops. Almost broke my feet and legs a couple of times
but finaly made it to next stop were i could place my tent. Next day it was
snowing, raining and storming all day i had to stay in the tent all day.
Last day at the lake only had to walk the 10 km back with canoe and 30 KG gear.

Lunch having a gascooker with me was quite easy i have to say, much faster as
having to make a fire everytime.
Finaly made it to the hilltop, time to take it out eh.
Oeps, have to walk knee deep thru the snow, maybe i was a bit too early in the
seazon. Oh wait it get much worse later on.
First to cross the snowcovered hiking trails thats quite special too.
Putside the wind it can be so nice and warm i love it
Fuck so dangerous snowcoverd boulders, almost disapeared a few times and allmost
broke my legs tens of times big thumbs up for my hiking boots!
 
Mist and storm outside i am glad my tent was up before it went realy wild.

All day storm rain and icecold had to stay in the tent cause it was too
dangerous to cross the mountain pass.Was kinda woried i coundt make it on the
other side of the mountain, so decided to walk the same way back the following
day.
The day
after i walked back the way i came snce it was too dangerous to walk thru and my
boots were frozen. 6:00 in the morning on the go downhill went faster and i
arived 3 in the afternoon baack at my car jumped in and drove all the way to
hardanger vida.Sleeping in a hostel since it was too late to get a map next
morning getting a map and went to the park when i arived it hailed so that
started good. few hours in the hike it started to storm and snow realy hard cold
and wett i got since i had no raincoat and was amazed to see the whole area
white from the snow.

Last day in the park walked in 7 hours all the way back, got in the car and
drove to the next adventure.
14-June-2010
After a good night sleep in the hostel and a good breakfast i went on my way to
the next huge naturepark.
walking for a couple of hours when it started to hail, wich went over into snow,
and more snow and snowstorm OMG and no place to hide not even a tree.
So fucking cold
But then an hour later the coulds and storm went away and it was nice weather at
once again.

Got up early in the morning to start wich seemd to be a long hike thru the
mountains 20 KM with full gear.
On the way found such a lovley place on top of the mounatin with a 360 view i
couldnt help myself and got my porn magazine out and made a awesome membersfilm.

Found a mountainshack for hikers first time i went into 1 crazy thing, just a
cowshack with a fireplace.
